Dr. Nelli Kocsomba
Dr. Nelli Kocsomba is a lawyer and founder of Dr. Nelli Kocsomba Law Office. She specialises in trademark and copyright law, with a particular focus on managing intellectual property portfolios for international companies and on IP enforcement. Since 2012, she has been a permanent cooperating partner of a regional international law firm specialising in intellectual property, regularly handling Hungarian matters referred by foreign counsel. She is a member of AIPPI’s Standing Committee on IP Office Practice.
She graduated in law from Eötvös Loránd University in 2006. She began her career at law firms serving an international client base, gaining experience in employment, commercial and civil litigation matters in both English and Hungarian. In 2013, she founded her own practice with an exclusive focus on intellectual property.

Trainee Lawyer
Dr. Nikoletta Garabás
Dr. Nikoletta Garabás is a trainee lawyer and has been with Dr. Nelli Kocsomba Law Office since 2017. Her practice covers trademarks, copyright, domain name disputes and customs matters, with a particular focus on enforcement and cross-border cases. Her postgraduate qualifications in media law and data protection also inform her work on matters affecting businesses in the digital and creative industries.
She began her legal studies at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary as a legal assistant and obtained her law degree from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2023. As part of her studies, she attended the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, focusing on industrial property and copyright law. She gained international professional experience at Zivko Mijatovic & Partners. During her university years, she also worked for several years as a volunteer legal adviser for Járókelő Public Benefit Association.

IP Administrator
Evelin Nagy
Evelin Nagy has nearly twenty years of administrative experience in an international environment, communicating with clients and professional partners in English on a daily basis. At the firm, she is responsible for deadline management in trademark and patent matters, trademark renewals, the validation of European patents in Hungary and the administration of patent annuity payments. She also manages communication with domestic and international partners, document administration and invoicing.
